Russian "bourjouyka" - still fashionable and indispensable

Moving from our comfortable appartments in a megapolis to a homestead in mountains we changed our lifestyle greatly. Particularly with the  Winter coming. Heating became a matter of the first priority. In a countryside one can not fully rely on electricity, in Winter time it'd be too light-mindedly and can have dramatic outcomes. As our grand-grand mothers did many years ago we bought firewood,  laid down logs in a stack and after multiple attempts made a fire in a new fireplace. In Russia this kind of metalic stove is called "bourjouyka". Nobody knows why. They were very popular after the October Revolution in 1917 and later during the World War II. That simple metalic fireplaces looked rather ugly at that time. Today there is a great variety of "bourjouykas", they are much more safe, look nice, and give warmth and comfort for many hours.
