A lion lived for three years with a wire round his neck

      A little lion was caught in a trap set by pothunters in a National park in Tanzania. Somehow he could run away but to free himself from the wire was above his forces. For three years he lived with the wire round his neck that damaged his skin and flesh enormously. What surprises mostly that his pride supported him and brought food for him while usually ill and weak lions are killed. For a long period the personnel of the National park tried to find the wounded lion but it was no easy task. Finely he was found practically dying. The rescue team called for a vet immediately. The pride tried to defense the wounded lion and the members of the rescue team had to use their  jeeps to keep lions at a considerable distance while the vet was busy taking the  wire from the neck. Now the lion is much better and even a short mane covers his neck.
